For this festival, Alpha Art presents a delightful collection of works from a selection of internationally acclaimed Scottish artists and young emerging talent. This exhibition gives a taste of the contemporary painters and sculptors currently working in Scotland with a broad scope of works ranging from landscapes and seascapes, to contemporary abstraction. This show is a celebration of the current trends of Scottish talent, including works from Ron Lawson, Jack Frame, Senja Brendon, April Berrie, Pauline Montgomery, Elena Guillaumin, Patsy McArthur, Helen Acklam, Philip Raskin and more.

Living in the Highlands since 2004 has given McCallum the opportunity to fully explore the outstanding and breathtaking landscape that Scotland has to offer. His paintings reflect the ever changing mood of remote sceneries, dramatic skies and vast beaches, as well as the colourful mountain flora and geography.

Inspired by the Scottish highlands and islands, Helen Acklam uses a variety of media to convey her interest in this breathtaking landscape. The main subject in her latest collection of works are the cottages, bothies and shielings from the Isle of Lewis and the Outer Hebrides.

With the combination of various significant and symbolic elements, Acklam succeeds to beautifully breathe new life into these often deserted and derelict places.

The new large signed limited edition prints by Jack Frame, 'Lady Garden', have just arrived in the gallery. This hand-gilded works are a recent release by the artist and are available framed or unframed.

The new signed series of Ron Lawson limited edition prints have just been released and they are now available at the gallery.

We are delighted to welcome British artist Guy Allen to the gallery.

Allen marries the traditional technique of etching with a timeless subject matter and print making process for a more contemporary twist.
