Award-winning photographer Lee Howell is based in Edinburgh, UK.

Using a combination of photographic capture and post-production techniques, Howell’s work is distinctive and unique, producing strong, vivid imagery to achieve his trademark style.

No stranger to success his talent has won him numerous industry awards over the last few years, in the categories of advertising, fashion and portraiture. Lee was awarded his Associateship by the BIPP, British Institute of Professional Photography in 2013, after being awarded Best Student Portfolio of the year, along with graduating with a BA in Professional Photography. This success continued into his professional career, being awarded Scottish BIPP Professional Photographer of the Year 2014 and Scottish Commercial & Advertising Photographer 2015.

The world’s leading creative computer software manufacturer, Adobe, recently recognised Lee’s work by including him into their select group of ‘New Creatives’, choosing his 'Tribe' series to help launch Adobe Photoshop CC in 2014. This also coincided with his work also being used by Adobe to launch their new Behance Wallpaper App in the Apple Store, his images featuring alongside such esteemed photographers such as Tim Tadder.

Retina Scottish International Photography Festival featured Lee’s work as part of the emerging talent exhibition in 2014, followed shortly by a personal exhibition of Lee’s Beauté Aviaire fine art series being exhibited on the streets of the Scottish capital, in the form of some two-meter wide black and white prints, for the duration the Edinburgh International Festival as part of Fashionscape 2014.
